Bitcoin's dominance sitting at current levels doesn't necessarily require a drop all the way to 48% to be meaningful. That said, any pullback in BTC D over the next several weeks or months would actually be a healthy signal we're watching for. Markets don't move in straight lines, and modest corrections in dominance metrics can create breathing room for altseason dynamics. Whether it dips modestly or tests lower support levels, consolidation periods are par for the course when you're tracking macro market structure.

ngl the whole "healthy pullback" narrative is just cope for when alts finally break free from btc's gravitational field lmao... watching the dominance charts like a hawk rn

The 48% level isn't absolutely necessary, but I think with gas fees remaining so high right now, I really don't feel like chasing any altseason.

The 48% figure is nonsense; the key is whether the timing is right.

ok so here's the thing – you don't need btc dom to crater to 48 for things to get spicy. modest pullbacks are actually where the magic happens tbh. as i always tell my students, consolidation isn't boring, it's when real positioning happens underneath. watching the macro structure unfold rn

BTC dominance retracement? Basically, it's just an excuse waiting for the altseason.

Wait, isn't it meaningful even if BTC dominance doesn't drop to 48%? I need to think this through carefully...
