Casa Chief Security Officer Jameson Lopp released annual data showing that Bitcoin Core mailing list traffic grew by 60% year-over-year, with 135 independent code contributors involved in development, and approximately 285,000 lines of code changed. This reversed a continuous decline since 2018, when the number of contributors peaked at around 193.
