Fusion: A specific older version of the vault lost $336,000 due to a vulnerability, and the DAO will fully compensate the affected users.

Foresight News reports that Fusion has released a security update: the IPOR USDC Fusion Optimizer has a vulnerability in the Arbitrum Vault. The IPOR team was notified on January 6th and discovered a flaw that resulted in a loss of $336,000 USDC. The vulnerability targeted a specific older version of the Fusion Vault. Due to its unique configuration, this is the only vault susceptible to this particular attack vector. The loss accounts for less than 1% of Fusion’s insured funds. They are working with the Security Alliance to track and recover the funds. IPOR DAO will cover the funding gap from the treasury. All affected depositors will be fully compensated.
