Recently, the recent market trend of BTC has been really frustrating. Just barely breaking through the 90,000 mark, then turning around and being poured cold water by analysts—"the rebound is fragile," "trading volume is weak," a bunch of voices are all bearish. The overall market sentiment is summed up in one word: cautious. Contract holdings haven't grown much, funds are all squeezed into short-term positions, and those truly interested in long-term bullish positions are just watching from the sidelines.

In this environment of "gritting it out," one big fish did something that made people stare.

Whale address 0xFB78AA8F38843629e89951D9db6FdC398d75e0A3 has directly secured the top spot in BTC longs on the Hyperliquid platform. It's no joke to say he's heavily concentrated: currently holding 2,830 BTC, with a paper value of $259.55 million, and an average cost of about $92,318.6 per BTC. Now, with BTC hovering around $91,713, that means he's already lost $1.71 million, and in the past week, he's lost $1.49 million.

Ordinary investors would have already panicked and liquidated. But this guy? Not only did he not run, he even added more margin. While the market is cautious, he's stubbornly holding his long position. Is this move a stroke of genius or reckless gambling? No one can say for sure. But in this cautious market, seeing someone so stubbornly sticking to the longs definitely warrants some reflection on the underlying logic.

This guy is really bold. He lost 1.71 million but still dares to add to his position. As a professional who missed out, I can only watch from afar.

This whale is really fierce. Losing 1.71 million and still daring to add margin, I have to admit I’m a bit shocked. Stubborn to the end, either he’s seeing things we can’t see, or he’s just truly crazy. Damn, the market is all scared, and this guy is doing it alone—that’s the gwei difference. 90,000 broke through and came back, so annoying. Let’s just see how this big fish operates. By the way, what kind of impact could such a whale have on the market if they completely clear out?

Let's take a look at the data. 2830 BTC lost 1.71 million and is still adding positions. This logic needs to be carefully analyzed. This brother either has some information advantage or is truly recharging his faith. From an engineering perspective, this kind of holding pattern itself is a signal. The market is all bearish, yet he insists on holding long. Either he bets correctly on BTC's fundamentals, or he's a high-level gambler. But with this scale of position, it's hard to think he's just gambling. Speaking of which, how brave to add leverage while losing money. How strong must his mindset be? Or does he simply not think this is a loss? It's worth observing, but it's hard to draw conclusions. One thing that needs clarification is whether this operation from a single address reflects personal judgment or is supported by a team, which requires further verification.

Is this whale really crazy? Losing 1.71 million and still daring to add margin? I damn well wish I had such a tough mindset too. Just solo against the entire market, huh.

Laughing and then crying, this whale probably took stop-losses as taboo words. Risked losing 1.71 million but still dared to leverage, this mental resilience is truly exceptional. While the market is shrinking back, he’s bravely adding positions alone in the dead of night— is this faith or gambling? So, sometimes the craziest moves are actually the clearest. Seeing him unwavering in his bullish stance, I, a small leek, can only learn silently. Should we follow or hide? It’s truly a dilemma. Tough to hold, with a heavy position of 2830 BTC—either a genius or a trap. Losing 1.49 million in a week like it’s nothing, what’s your stress resistance level, brother? This guy must have seen through something, or he’s just truly crazy.
