The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently announced a final deadline for all crypto asset service providers operating in the UK — they must obtain full authorization by October 2027.

The specific timeline is as follows: the application window will open in September 2026, and any company involved in regulated crypto services must complete the authorization process in accordance with the Financial Services and Markets Act. One important detail to note is that those already registered under anti-money laundering regulations will not automatically transition; they will need to go through the process again.

What about those who miss the deadline? The consequences are straightforward. After the new regulations take effect, companies that have not completed authorization will enter a transitional restriction period — essentially frozen, only able to continue operating their existing product lines, with no new business allowed. This could lead to a reshuffling of market competition, and service providers who are unprepared will face significant challenges.

Another wave of regulatory crackdown? The pace in the UK is really intense—opening in 2026 and ending in 2027. Are they not afraid of跑路?

Another wave of regulatory crackdown, and this time the UK is really serious. If authorization isn't secured by 2027, it's basically a life sentence; how will those small exchanges survive?

Another wave of regulatory crackdown. The UK is aiming to push out all non-compliant exchanges. Without a license by 2027, they will be directly frozen. This really hurts.

Haha, the FCA is really ruthless, pushing everyone into a corner. Those who can't meet the deadline can only wait to be frozen out. This round of reshuffling will probably eliminate another batch of low-quality projects. Regulations in the UK are becoming stricter, and it seems other places are quickly following suit... Compliance is better to do early for ease; realizing this now is really a bit late. There are still three years until 2027. Service providers who aren't panicking now will probably go crazy later. The worst hit this time are those small platforms. The big players face little pressure, but the smaller ones are directly going under. The UK financial sector is testing crypto's tolerance again. The next likely move is the EU following suit.

October 2027 is the deadline. Now those platforms in the UK really need to get moving. The time for slacking off is over.

It's the same old story again. The Brits just love to play these compliance games. Honestly, it's just about charging fees.

Another round of nested authorization... This wave of FCA is really fierce. If it can't be resolved before 2027, it will be frozen.

Here we go again. The UK is trying to overhaul the entire crypto ecosystem, and the 2027 deadline is set too aggressively.

Another round of regulatory crackdown has been unleashed. The UK’s move is really tough... If they don't resolve it by 2027, new businesses will be frozen, and those small platforms are probably going to panic.

Haha, the UK is starting to play this game again. Big companies have been prepared for a long time, and small exchanges are probably going to be out of business.
