Mentougou incident latest update: hackers still hold 4100 BTC, recently transferred to trading platforms causing market pressure

According to analysis by Arkham, an on-chain monitoring organization, the hacker wallets related to Mentougou have experienced significant activity in the past week. The address associated with Aleksey Bilyuchenko transferred 1300 BTC to an unknown trading platform. Based on the current Bitcoin price of $91.45K, this transfer involves approximately $119 million.

Notably, after this transfer, the hacker entity still controls a large position of 4100 BTC, valued at about $375 million at the latest prices. This indicates that the risk of further sell-offs still exists.

From historical data, this series of addresses has already sold a total of 2300 BTC. The recent transfer of 1300 BTC to a trading platform suggests that there may be further liquidity releases in the short term. The market is widely watching the hacker’s next moves, as large-scale concentrated Bitcoin sell-offs often exert pressure on the market.

The remaining 4100 BTC still hang like the Sword of Damocles over the market. Any further transfer actions could trigger fluctuations in trading sentiment.
