Regarding short-term opportunities for MEME coins, I want to share some of my observations.

The short-term logic for MEME on BSC is actually easier to capture than on the Solana chain, and the path is more straightforward.

First, I need to clarify—early entry is not very suitable for short-term trading; at that stage, it's better to hold. True short-term explosive opportunities often share these characteristics:

First, the popularity can continue to spread and has a sufficiently unique angle. This determines whether there is room for follow-up.

Second, there should be clear sideways consolidation on the 4-hour chart. This is a very important signal—adequate sideways movement often indicates that chips are accumulating and emotions are brewing.

Third, expectations need to be sufficiently rich. This may involve alpha rounds, contract narratives, or multiple spot expectations stacking.

Usually, after each sideways consolidation, there will be a wave of positive catalysts. But here’s a detail—if there hasn't been enough shakeout during the early upward phase, a sudden surge of positive news will have less impact on the explosive strength and duration. Looking at coins like giggle and HakiMi, you can see the difference in this pattern.

The theory of sideways accumulation and shakeout sounds good, but in reality, most people get knocked out before that moment even arrives, haha.

I agree with consolidation, but insufficient early shakeouts might actually lead to a more aggressive surge. Anyway, last time I just lifted off without a shakeout and still benefited.

actually... the whole "horizontal consolidation = chip accumulation" narrative feels like pattern-matching theater to me. has anyone considered the computational overhead of tracking these microstructures on bsc vs solana? the trust assumptions here are doing a lot of work.

Sideways movement means the chips are talking, this logic makes sense... but I always feel that many people are easily cut during shakeouts.

The sideways signal has indeed encountered many pitfalls; I feel it's still important to look at the depth of chip locking.

The sideways consolidation phase is indeed crucial; many people get stuck because they lack the patience to wait through this stage.

The theory of sideways accumulation sounds good, but in practice, it's still easy to get trapped, especially with those fake sideways movements that are the most deceptive.
