I integrated the Bun Runtime compatibility layer for workerd. After evaluation, Cloudflare still rejected it, citing insufficient demand to support long-term maintenance. It's a bit disappointing. However, the code is already written, and interested developers can deploy and use it themselves. The solution is available here.

Cloudflare is still a bit conservative; such useful tools are deliberately held back from demand. But speaking of which, your open-source spirit is undeniable, and I feel the community will really appreciate this.

Uh, Cloudflare's logic is a bit funny. When demand is insufficient, they refuse to maintain it. So how do so many projects in the open-source community survive?

CF this time is a bit unorthodox, clearly someone actively contributing code but still complaining about lack of requirements. The logic is really out of this world.

CF's recent move is indeed a bit conservative, but releasing it as open source is also good. It's definitely better than holding onto a bad one.

Cloudflare's approach this time is really a bit conservative; it's good enough if they open source it. The community might find that using it themselves could actually prove the demand.

Did all this work go to waste? But our open-source community is like this; if someone wants it, they just get it.

The code is all written and still rejected, which is ridiculous. But on the other hand, the maintainability concern of Cloudflare is understandable.
