Our high short strategy set up at midnight was accurately executed, with short positions entered near 4625 perfectly reaching the target of 4600, and the market rhythm was completely in line with expectations. Currently, the price is consolidating around 4615, and the overall downward pressure remains unchanged, with a clear cyclical bearish outlook.

In the news, the steady performance of US economic data and the strong movement of the US dollar index continue to suppress the upward space for gold. The cooling of geopolitical risk sentiment has further weakened buying support, and multiple factors are jointly pushing the price into a correction cycle.

On the technical side, the 15-minute chart shows that after reaching a high of 4632, the price formed a double top resistance. After breaking below the key support at 4610, it dipped to a low of 4581. Although there was a rebound, the momentum was insufficient.
