After the stablecoin market surpasses a trillion USD in size, the requirements for the underlying settlement network are also rapidly evolving—shifting from the past "it works if it can" to now demanding comprehensive improvements in efficiency, cost, and security. Today, I want to discuss a Layer 1 public chain specifically designed for this era; its approach might offer some inspiration.

Traditional public chains often feel a bit "overwhelmed" when handling stablecoin transactions: network congestion, skyrocketing Gas fees, and high costs. This new chain changes the game from the ground up. The most impressive feature is its consensus mechanism, which achieves sub-second finality. What does this mean? Stablecoin transfers can almost be instant. Compared to traditional networks that often take several minutes, this is a qualitative leap for payment and settlement scenarios.

Even more interesting is the innovative Gas mechanism design. Users can pay network fees directly with mainstream stablecoins like USDT and USDC, without needing to hold native tokens. This design reduces the learning curve for users and avoids risks associated with token volatility. Especially for high-frequency small transactions, the project has also launched a Gasless USDT transfer feature, nearly eliminating transaction friction—making it particularly friendly for everyday use in emerging markets.

Although the chain is primarily focused on stablecoins, it does not compromise on versatility. By achieving full EVM compatibility, Ethereum ecosystem developers can migrate directly, immediately benefiting from high-performance underlying support. The idea of "compatibility plus dedicated optimization" makes it highly differentiated in the Layer 1 competition.

Security is also worth mentioning. The project innovatively introduces a Bitcoin-pegged security mechanism, providing additional reinforcement for the reliability of stablecoin settlement.

Sub-millisecond confirmation is indeed absolute, but only when it can be truly implemented does it count.

Sub-millisecond confirmation? That's what I want. Finally, someone is seriously working on the settlement layer, unlike some chains that hype concepts every day.

Sub-millisecond confirmation is indeed impressive, but the key still depends on the actual TPS and ecosystem activity.
