Abstract generation in progress

Google Photos has recently introduced an experimental feature called ‘Me Meme’ available to Android and iOS users in the United States. According to reports from PANews, this meme revolutionizes the way users can play with their selfies, transforming them into creative memes using generative artificial intelligence technology.

The creation process is simple: users can choose from pre-made templates or upload a custom reference image. Then, they select a well-lit, sharp front-facing portrait, allowing the AI system to process the image and generate unique memes. Once generated, this meme offers multiple customization options: users can edit it, save it to their gallery, regenerate it with different styles, or share it directly on social media.

This meme is integrated within the AI creation tools available in the Create tab of Google Photos. Google is gradually rolling out the feature to US users, although it has so far kept details about its global availability and future development under wraps. This initiative reinforces Google’s commitment to incorporating generative AI capabilities into its productivity applications.
