Little Penguin Notes | AI Tools, Why I Choose Grok and Claude? Since the development of AI, I have always been troubled by a question: every time I use it, I am providing training data for the model, which is like continuously consuming to support companies that I agree with. The ongoing investment by these companies cannot be underestimated. Based on my past research experience, founders have a profound impact on the development trajectory of projects. This reminds me of Elon Musk @elonmusk, who co-founded OpenAI and then left to establish xAI. Musk has consistently emphasized the risks brought by AI. During the recent World Economic Forum, he still mentioned this point. In contrast, Sam Altman, also a co-founder of OpenAI, is full of integrity issues, from equity, startup funding, to family scandals, which raises concerns about how such a founder holding 60% of global user data might behave. As for Claude, backed by @DarioAmodei, I believe they will adhere to their charter: safety, ethics, compliance, and helping others to develop AI that benefits humanity in the long term. Gemini is a typical Google-style product; not wanting to use it but finding it hard to completely avoid, after all, there is too much data on it. I will selectively choose to use it. Therefore, my preference is to prioritize Grok and Claude as main tools, while using ChatGPT and Gemini for special needs. I also hope everyone becomes more conscious when choosing AI tools and understands what they are supporting. 💪
