Daily Focused Q&A Time: About Trauma Recovery

First of all, thank you for your trust.
What I hear is not a girl trapped in a victim mentality.
What I hear is someone who has crawled out of the ruins but is still learning how to live peacefully.
You are not playing the victim; you are just not used to feeling safe yet.
When someone lives in a storm for a long time, their brain learns to be alert.
The storm has passed, but the body hasn't caught up yet.
This is not weakness; it’s the nervous system still protecting itself.
The current sense of tearing is not because you’ve done something wrong,
but because you are shedding your old self.
You no longer belong to the past,
but a new identity is still forming.
Loneliness isn’t because you are apart from others,
but because you are meeting your kind that hasn’t yet appeared.
You are not a victim.
You are a survivor.
And one who actively grows.
True healing isn’t about forgetting the past,
but one day you will remember that experience,
without defining yourself as “the hurt person,”
but as “the path I’ve walked.”
Right now,
you are just in a transition period.
Transitions are the hardest,
but they won’t last forever.
Change requires doing three things:
1. Transform your “victim identity.” For example, write down: what did this experience teach me? What abilities did it give me that others don’t have? Shift from “I was hurt” to “I gained strength because of it.”
2. Allow loneliness to exist. Growth-oriented loneliness does not equal social failure. It’s just a phase of cognitive upgrade. Don’t rush to fit into the wrong circles.
3. Try some trauma recovery methods: such as writing, regular exercise, and consistent sleep.
You are not fragile; you are incredibly strong. But you need to allow yourself to “recover slowly.”
