In 9 days of war with Iran, the US lost military equipment worth billions of dollars, which will take years to replace — according to Foreign Policy



Estimated financial losses for the US from confirmed cases:

▪️Ground-based radar system AN/FPS-132 worth $1.1 billion in Qatar;

▪️Radar AN/TPY-2 from the THAAD system worth $500 million in the UAE;

▪️Three F-15E Strike Eagle fighters with a total cost of $282 million in Kuwait;

▪️Three satellite communication terminals AN/GSC-52B with a total cost of $30 million in Kuwait;

▪️Two satellite communication terminals AN/GSC-52B with a total cost of $20 million in Bahrain;

▪️Radar AN/TPY-2 from the THAAD system worth $500 million in Jordan;

▪️Three MQ-9 Reaper drones with a total cost of $90 million in Iran.

According to the portal, replacing such equipment will take years and is complicated by the fact that 98% of gallium for these systems is supplied to the global market from China.
