The UAE has for the first time struck Iran in response to Tehran's attacks, reports the Ynet portal. Specifically: a desalination complex that reduces the salt content in water to make it suitable for drinking and industrial use.
In this context, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense issued a statement. The officials said that the IRGC launched 238 ballistic missiles and 1,422 drones at the country. Of these, 221 missiles and 1,342 drones were intercepted.
It was noted that as a result of the strikes on the UAE, four people—citizens of Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh—were killed. Another 112 were injured but survived. The local Ministry of Defense stated that the Emirates "remain prepared to counter any threats and will decisively respond to any attempts to undermine the country's security."
Additionally, the UAE announced that Iran delivered the strongest strike against them. It accounted for 42.8% of more than 1,276 of all attacks. This is twice as many as the strikes on Israel, which accounted for 20.1%. Kuwait ranks third with 16.8%, followed by Bahrain with 6.6% and Saudi Arabia with 5.4%, totaling fewer than 2,981 registered attacks.
