The UK has only two days' worth of gas reserves left, reports Daily Mail.

The country will have to purchase it abroad at the highest prices in Europe. The gas market shortage is partly caused by the nearly complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20% of the world's natural gas and oil supplies pass, as well as the halt in production in some regions.

In particular, Spanish drivers are lining up at gas stations. Many are trying to stock up on fuel.
