Whether it was airdrop hunting before or playing openclaw recently, one experience I've had is that a router with built-in VPN capability is really key.



My device is an ASUS AX86U running Merlin firmware with a VPN tunnel deployed on it. This way, any device on the local network that needs global VPN access can simply have its IP specified in the router settings, without needing any configuration on that device itself.

This has saved me an incredible amount of time.
