Techub News: The Polygon community has released PIP-85 proposal, which plans to adjust the PIP-65 priority fee distribution formula. The proposal states that 50% of the priority fee will be extracted from the validator pool and distributed to stakers through a periodic Merkle claim process deployed on Ethereum.
The proposal also indicates that the remaining validator pool distribution will be adjusted, with 75% allocated based on an equal-weighted performance method, and 25% continuing to use the existing staking weight formula. This move aims to introduce an equal-weight factor to achieve a more balanced incentive mechanism in validator distributions and directly enhance staker rewards.
