According to Mars Finance, on March 30, CBS reported that, according to two sources familiar with the situation, the White House privately informed allies that it will take time for the U.S. to reach a diplomatic agreement with Iran. They also added that the U.S. estimates that the intense actions of the war itself will continue for another two to four weeks. Two sources close to Iranian officials stated that Tehran believes diplomatic negotiations will require time. These sources indicated that Iran is skeptical about the U.S. potentially reaching an agreement and that Tehran believes high energy prices provide favorable conditions for Iran. The two sources also mentioned that Iran is skeptical about the joint timeline for ending hostilities between the U.S. and Israel. The Israel Defense Forces previously stated that they expect the fighting to continue until Passover (the first week of April).
