Recently, the Alibaba DAMO Academy and medical device company Neusoft Medical signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Relying on Neusoft Medical’s advanced CT equipment and a supply chain system covering more than 130 countries worldwide, both sides will deeply integrate DAMO Academy’s “plain-scan CT + AI” technology to jointly promote the widespread adoption of AI for early screening of multiple cancers. Through this cooperation, both sides will achieve in-depth integration of “hardware + software.” Without the need for injection of contrast agents, they can use a single plain-scan CT to identify digestive system tumors such as pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and liver cancer, as well as acute and chronic conditions such as aortic dissection, fatty liver, and osteoporosis, thereby improving the yield of each examination without increasing patient costs.
