Most people understand storage in terms of cost and speed, but what is truly overlooked is time.

@Permaweb_DAO's position is to embed time directly into the data itself. Relying on Arweave's permanent storage mechanism, once data is written, it no longer depends on continuous payments for maintenance but instead exchanges a one-time cost for long-term existence.
The logic behind this is clear: the value of information often increases over time rather than diminishes. If on-chain data can exist stably over the long term, it has the potential to become infrastructure.
The key is not just about storing data but whether someone continues to read and use it. If it's only archived without access, it's just cold data. If it becomes part of an application layer dependency, its value can be unlocked.
Permaweb DAO is building organizations and incentives around this layer of permanent data, ensuring data not only exists but can be continuously utilized.
The market discusses short-term narratives, but truly long-term data is that which will not be deleted.
