Mars Finance News, April 11 — Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on the 10th that Russia must independently develop and advance foundational artificial intelligence models that are competitive on a global scale and possess maximum autonomy. Putin said that the development strategy for Russia’s artificial intelligence sector and related work will be promoted by a dedicated committee. The plans considered by the committee this year should include the following five aspects:

Accelerate the implementation of artificial intelligence in key economic, social, and public administration sectors;
Adapt to the widespread use of artificial intelligence and reconstruct the human resource development system;
Assess the risks and threats derived from artificial intelligence applications and formulate response measures;
Develop autonomous artificial intelligence solutions serving national defense and national security;
Build a comprehensive promotion system for Russian artificial intelligence systems and services, and strengthen international cooperation. (Xinhua News Agency)
