The Aster derivatives exchange team has confirmed significant changes to its $ASTER tokenomics, postponing several unlocks originally scheduled for 2025. The new schedule shifts these unlocks to summer 2026, with some allocations delayed as far as 2035.
According to the team, the changes reflect that "Aster does not currently plan to use these tokens," leading to the suspension of previously planned monthly ecosystem unlocks. The current $ASTER price of $1.13 remains approximately 24% above the $0.91 baseline
