Using food, drink, accommodation, and education to manipulate children’s parents is the most shameless and incompetent behavior. Food, drink, accommodation, and education are the basic conditions that parents need to provide for their children. Those who cannot provide these basic conditions have no right to be parents. Knowing that a child cannot be self-reliant and still using these to control the child is impossible to make the child proud; it will only invite the child's contempt. When children grow up, they will definitely leave such a home. What is there to cherish about a family that manipulates with food, drink, and shelter? Claiming that children are unfilial only proves that even the children don’t want to be associated with you. How failed must you be? As I always say, whether a parent is successful or not depends on whether their children are willing to come home.
