Mars Finance News 11 April — Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on the 10th that Russia must independently develop and advance foundational artificial intelligence models that are competitive globally and possess maximum autonomy. Putin said that the development strategy for Russia’s artificial intelligence sector and related work will be promoted by a dedicated committee, which considers the following five aspects this year: first, accelerating the implementation of artificial intelligence in key economic, social, and public administration sectors; second, adapting to widespread use of artificial intelligence and reconstructing the human resource training system; third, assessing the risks and threats derived from AI applications and formulating response measures; fourth, developing autonomous AI solutions for national defense and security; fifth, building a comprehensive promotion system for Russian AI systems and services, and strengthening international cooperation.
