The Tether Bitcoin Mining Operating System MOS will be Open Source in Q4 2025.
Gate News bot message, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced that the company's Bitcoin Mining Operating System MOS (Mining OS) is scheduled to be open source in the fourth quarter of 2025.
MOS adopts a modular architecture design, with a coverage range that includes various deployment scenarios from Raspberry Pi to large mining farms. The system has integrated multiple mining machines and power equipment plugins, while also providing users with custom extension features.
In addition, the MOS plan is to work with Tether's QVAC tool, focusing on Mining performance optimization and report generation, aiming to provide technical support for small and medium miners and promote the openness of mining infrastructure.
