As the delivery cycle of orders approaches, this year will also see a peak in LNG carrier deliveries. Shipyards have stated that the number of LNG carriers delivered this year will reach a historic high. The deputy director of the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Development Research Institute introduced that more than 10 LNG carrier orders are expected to be delivered this year. Currently, there are about 60 LNG carrier orders on hand, with a total value of approximately 150 billion yuan, and the schedule is already booked until 2031.
