The Iraq military killed three ISIL militants

On July 20, Jinshi Data reported that the Security Media Center of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, a subordinate of the Iraqi military, issued a statement on the 19th that the Iraqi military launched an airstrike on a location in the northern mountainous area of Iraq, killing three members of the extremist organization ‘Islamic State’ armed group. The statement said that the Iraqi Air Force launched an airstrike at a hideout of the ‘Islamic State’ armed group in the Hamlin Mountains between Kirkuk Province and Salahuddin Province on the morning of the 19th based on intelligence. The security team sent to the scene for ground search discovered the bodies of three militants and seized some weapons and communication equipment. An Iraqi security official who declined to be named told Xinhua News Agency that one of the militants was a senior member of the ‘Islamic State’ wanted by the Iraqi security forces.
