Abstract generation in progress

Odaily Planet Daily News Bankless founder David Hoffman stated in a post on the X platform, "ETH development has prioritized L2 execution for over 2 years. This comes at the cost of L1 execution. L1 execution lags behind Moore's Law, while L2 receives undue rise and valuation subsidies from L1. Therefore, we should reassess the priority of L1 execution. I agree with @MaxResnick1's view that the hardware requirements for L1 should be 'the latest 2 generations of Macbook Pro', which aligns with the social contract of individual stakers. This would increase the accessibility of ETH L1 to over 10 times more users, at a low cost. The argument against this is that the Ethereum ecosystem needs to be restructured around less synchronous composability—continuously rising L1 execution will drop the urgency to solve this issue. A rollup-centric Ethereum is the right roadmap—let's face the challenge head-on."
