Odaily Planet Daily According to the legal dispute with PleasrDAO, ‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli has been ordered to surrender the electronic version of all Wu-Tang Clan albums. PleasrDAO has owned this physical album since 2021, when it purchased the record from the Department of Justice for $4.75 million after it was confiscated from Shkreli following his conviction for securities fraud in 2018. The DAO sold fractional ownership through Non-fungible Tokens, but claims that Shkreli retains a digital copy of the album and has filed a lawsuit in June. On August 26, a federal judge in New York ordered Shkreli to “turn over any and all copies of the album in any form” to his lawyer and to sign a declaration stating that he will no longer have any copies by August 30. Shkreli must also submit a list of copies of the album by September 30, including information about the people he shared the album with and any economic benefits he obtained from issuance or playing the album. (Cointelegraph) In June, PleasrDAO sued Martin Shkreli for the ownership of the Wu-Tang Clan album worth $4.75 million.
