According to the news from the China Passenger Car Association, the latest research results show that the overall car market discount rate in the second week of September is about 24.0%, which is basically the same as last month. The retail sales target of the leading manufacturers, which accounts for nearly 80% of the total market, increased by about 10% month-on-month. Preliminary calculations indicate that the total retail market size of narrow passenger cars this month is about 2.1 million units, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year, and a rise of 10.1% month-on-month. The retail sales of new energy vehicles are expected to reach 1.1 million units, up 47.3% year-on-year and 7.3% month-on-month, with a penetration rate of about 52.4%.
