Golden Ten Data on October 27, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po published a secretary’s essay saying: Tomorrow I will lead a business delegation composed of representatives of the financial and innovation and technology sectors to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a three-day visit. One of the highlights of the trip was witnessing the first two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) listed on the Saudi Arabia Exchange, which means that Saudi investors will be able to easily access the Hong Kong stock market by trading locally-listed ETFs in a familiar trading and regulatory environment. Another focus is on accelerating and deepening I&T collaboration between the two places. The Hong Kong Science Parks Corporation will bring more than 20 technology start-ups to the local “roadshow”, and the partners of the Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited will also participate in some of the activities of the trip, jointly showcasing the achievements of Hong Kong’s strong promotion of I&T development in recent years, as well as the I&T ecosystem that is gradually improving.
