China Yangtze Power: No comment on whether to acquire Thames Water in the UK, will study any opportunities that are beneficial to the company's development

Jinshi data news on November 26th, in response to the report that ‘Yangtze Group is interested in the acquisition of Thames Water in the UK,’ a spokesperson for Yangtze River Infrastructure Group (01038.HK) stated that they do not comment on the report, but have always stated that they will conduct research on any opportunities that are beneficial to the company’s development and enhancing shareholder returns. The spokesperson cited the group’s mid-term performance report, stating that the group’s financial foundation remains strong and stable. As of the end of June, it held HKD 9.2 billion in cash, with a net debt ratio at a healthy level of 9.8%, providing the group with financial flexibility to deal with various uncertain market factors and support new acquisition opportunities.
