On December 1st, Jinshi Data reported that on the same day local time, the Sudanese armed forces and the local armed forces in Sudan’s Darfur region allied with them issued a joint statement announcing that they intercepted a convoy loaded with weapons and equipment entering Sudanese territory from Chad in the south of Darfur state in the west of the country. The statement said that the convoy was responsible for transporting weapons for the Sudan Rapid Support Forces. During the interception, the Sudanese armed forces and their allies killed more than 30 Rapid Support Forces personnel and seized 9 unmanned aerial vehicles capable of carrying air-to-ground missiles. The statement accused the United Arab Emirates and the Chadian government of supporting the Rapid Support Forces and delivering weapons and equipment to them. The Rapid Support Forces, the United Arab Emirates and Chad have not yet responded to this.
