Arm plans to significantly increase chip design licensing fees by 300% and consider independent chip development.

This news comes from internal documents and executive testimony disclosed during a lawsuit between Arm and Qualcomm last month. Although Arm attempted to negotiate higher licensing rates with Qualcomm through litigation, it ultimately failed.
