UK Core Retail Sales YoY for April Released: Fresh Consumer Data

The UK Office for National Statistics released the seasonally adjusted year-on-year core retail sales data for April at 3:00 PM on February 20, 2026.The core retail sales YoY indicator reflects the growth of the UK retail market compared to the same period last year, covering multiple retail categories including food, apparel, footwear, and household goods. The data is calculated based on a survey of 5,000 retail industry samples and excludes the more volatile automobile and fuel sales.This indicator is considered moderately important and is published monthly on a regular basis.
