According to industry sources, EigenCloud secured $70 million in OTC funding on June 17, 2025. The investment was led by Andreessen Horowitz. Following this round, EigenCloud’s cumulative funding has reached $234.5 million.EigenCloud, formerly known as EigenLayer, is a verifiable cloud services platform that provides tools for building verifiable applications and services. By integrating three core functions—EigenDA (data availability), EigenVerify (dispute resolution), and EigenCompute (computation)—the platform supports trust and transparency for both on-chain and off-chain applications, enabling developers to build decentralized marketplaces, on-chain insurance, and verifiable AI solutions.Reviewing its development trajectory, EigenCloud has experienced rapid growth in recent years. The project completed a $14.5 million seed round in August 2022, a $50 million Series A in March 2023, and a $100 million Series B in February 2024. The year 2024 marked a significant milestone for EigenCloud: the project officially launched on the Ethereum mainnet in April and introduced six new Active Verification Services (AVS), including AltLayer and Brevis. In addition, EigenCloud initiated a token airdrop program, allocating 45% of its tokens to the community. The first season airdrop distributed 113 million EIGEN tokens to users. With the increasing demand for verifiable computation in the Web3 sector, EigenCloud’s innovative solutions are poised to play a key role in advancing the industry. This latest funding round will further enhance its technology development and market expansion capabilities, supporting the creation of a more trustworthy and transparent blockchain ecosystem.
