Golden Finance reports that on March 27, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated in an interview that Russia has not provided intelligence information to Iran. Lavrov said that U.S. intelligence agencies accused Russia of suspected assistance to Iran in determining the locations of U.S. military bases in the Middle East. He mentioned that Russia and Iran have indeed signed a military-technical cooperation agreement, and Russia has supplied certain categories of military-grade products to Iran, but denied the allegations of providing intelligence, calling it media “hype.” He pointed out that everyone knows the coordinates of U.S. military bases in the Middle East, so Iran’s attack on U.S. bases is not surprising. Lavrov stated that although the trilateral negotiations on the Ukraine issue are paused, Russia has been informed of U.S.-Ukraine contacts. (CCTV)
