Robinhood will launch futures trading services for UK customers.
According to TechFlow news on October 27, FinanceFeeds reported that Robinhood announced the launch of futures trading services for UK customers, allowing users to trade index, energy, metal, and forex futures directly through its app and desktop platform Robinhood Legend. The service will offer over 40 CME Group futures products with a contract fee of just $0.75 and free real-time market data. This move aims to break the traditional notion that futures trading is limited to institutional investors, providing retail traders with easier and lower-cost access to the futures market. Robinhood UK President Jordan Sinclair stated: “In the UK, futures trading has traditionally been seen as the exclusive domain of institutional investors. Today, we begin to change that.”
