AI safety startup Xbow's valuation surpasses $1 billion

Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 18 — According to Jin10 Data, Xbow is a startup that develops artificial intelligence software to detect security vulnerabilities in applications. The company has completed a new funding round valued at over $1 billion, demonstrating investors’ enthusiasm for applying AI to cybersecurity. Xbow announced on Wednesday that DFG Growth and Northzone led a $120 million funding deal. Other participating investors include Alkeon Capital and Sofina, along with existing investors Sequoia Capital, Altimeter Capital, and NFDG. The startup currently has about 150 employees, with expectations to reach several hundred by the end of the year. Xbow CEO De Moore stated that Xbow has over 100 clients, including Moderna and Samsung Electronics, and has seen strong demand in South Korea.
