The three major U.S. stock indices closed sharply lower, with the Nasdaq down more than 10% from its all-time high.

Golden Finance reports that the U.S. stock market’s three major indices closed sharply lower, with the Nasdaq down 2.38%, more than 10% below its all-time high on October 29 last year; the S&P 500 fell 1.74%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 1.01%. Technology stocks broadly declined, with SanDisk dropping over 11%, Meta nearly 8%, AMD and Western Digital down over 7%, Intel and Micron Technology down over 6%, Nvidia down over 3%, and Tesla down over 3%. Energy stocks rose, with ConocoPhillips up over 3%, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and BP up over 1%.
