This course is organized into five easy modules that introduce Web3 and the Metaverse in simple terms. We start by explaining what Web3 is – essentially the next generation of the internet where you own your digital assets and identity. Then we’ll dive into what the Metaverse is – immersive virtual worlds where people can socialize, play, and trade digital goods. After covering the basics, we’ll look at real examples, like blockchain games and virtual land, to see these ideas in action. We’ll also discuss the risks and limitations (from scams to technical hurdles) to keep you grounded.
