Gate news bot message, the Big Four accounting firm Ernst & Young (EY) released the latest version of its enterprise-grade blockchain Nightfall, “Nightfall_4”, on April 2. This upgrade officially adopts the zk-SNARKs architecture, optimizing transaction confirmation speed and simplifying network architecture.

EY pointed out that after the United States lifted sanctions on Tornado Cash, the acceptance of privacy technologies among enterprises has increased. Nightfall adopts a permissioned design, requiring user identities to be verified to prevent anonymous abuse.
