The Israeli military claims to have killed a senior member of a Palestinian armed organization in the Gaza Strip.

On the evening of April 4th local time, the Israeli army issued a statement saying that earlier that day, the Israeli army killed a senior member of the Palestinian armed organization “Mujahideen Brigades”, Muhammad Hassan Muhammad Awad, during an airstrike operation against the Gaza Strip. The statement indicated that since the outbreak of the current round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023, Awad and his armed organization have collaborated with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to participate in and launch multiple attacks against the Israeli army and Israel.
