According to the Gate.io News bot and a report by Cryptonews, Glassnode’s chief analyst James Check stated on the X platform that historical data shows that Ether has generally underperformed Bitcoin during most market cycles.

Data shows that since the issuance of Ethereum in 2015, only 15% of trading days have outperformed Bitcoin. Ethereum briefly surpassed Bitcoin from mid-2015 to mid-2017, and again from the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020. However, since the beginning of 2020, Bitcoin has consistently maintained its leading position.

Currently, the ETH/BTC ratio has dropped to 0.018, reaching a new low since December 2019. At that time, the price of Ether was 125 USD, and the trading price of Bitcoin was about 7,000 USD.
