According to the Gate.io News bot, Fortune reports that Bitcoin insurance startup Meanwhile has completed a $40 million Series A financing round. This round of financing was co-led by Framework Ventures and Fulgur Ventures, with Xapo founder Wences Casares participating in the investment, bringing the company’s valuation to $190 million.

Meanwhile provides life insurance services that allow for premium payments and claims in Bitcoin. The company plans to use the newly raised funds for global business expansion and improving its compliance system. Previously, Meanwhile secured a $20.5 million investment from investors including Sam Altman in 2022.
