South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum has been sued for embezzling company funds to invest in Crypto Assets.

According to the Gate.io News bot and a report by News1, South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum is undergoing her first public trial at the Jeju District Court for misappropriating 4.34 billion won from her holding agency to invest in Crypto Assets. During the court hearing on May 15, Hwang Jung-eum’s lawyer admitted to the related charges, stating that the investment was made with the company’s development in mind, and the investment returns belong to the company. Currently, Hwang Jung-eum has repaid part of the losses by selling Crypto Assets and plans to sell properties, and the court has agreed to continue the compensation process.
