AMD will sell its ZT Systems data center infrastructure manufacturing business to Sanmina for a transaction value of $3 billion.

According to Mars Finance, on May 20, AMD announced on May 19 local time that it has reached a final agreement to sell ZT Systems’ data center infrastructure manufacturing business to integrated manufacturing solutions company Sanmina, with a transaction value of $3 billion. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of this year. In August last year, AMD agreed to acquire server manufacturer ZT Systems for cash and stock, with a transaction value of $4.9 billion. AMD stated at that time that it would retain the company’s design and customer teams and sell its manufacturing division. ( Jin10 )
