Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) Metaplanet plans to hold 210,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2027. Metaplanet Strategic Director Dylan LeClair stated that the company approved several equity-related proposals at a special shareholders’ meeting, which will help the company raise funds for further Bitcoin purchases. This move effectively allows Metaplanet to leverage financial instruments to increase its Bitcoin holdings without immediately diluting existing shareholders’ stakes. (DL News)
