BlockBeats news, on March 1st, according to official sources, Natalia from the Metis Foundation announced at ETH Denver the launch of Metis’ new high-performance Layer 2 chain, Metis Hyperion. The new chain ensures full compatibility with the ETH network, while providing zero-compromise security guarantees, seamless scalability, and enterprise-level system reliability for AI applications. Its three key innovations, including optimized reasoning engine, accelerated hardware, and Zero-Knowledge Proof, will enable AI models to run efficiently within the blockchain infrastructure and maintain high security. The Testnet is scheduled to launch between February and April 2025, including high-performance sorting nodes, initial developer tools, and framework testing functions. The Mainnet is expected to be delivered between May and August 2025, offering a high-throughput Layer 2 network and a complete developer kit for the production environment. In the period from September to December of this year, the Metis Hyperion Mainnet will undergo upgrades, including real-time feedback, parallel execution, and enhanced AI model support.
